How do I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your account, please send in a support ticket and we'll take care of it.  

If the account is not the one you're using (ie a duplicate account), simply send us a link to the profile of the account you wish to have deleted.  We will need proof before deleting secondary accounts, for example: writing in to support@thesimsresource.com using the email address registered to the secondary account.  This is simply to safeguard your accounts from being deleted by someone else.


Note: in line with our Terms of Use, we do reserve the right to continue hosting your content even when you delete your account and we don't remove content ordinarily. Many creations are used in other people's content and so removing the dependent files would break these too, and we won't do that unless there is a legal or technical reason where we have to.  However, for a small number of files that other content won't be relying on (such as Sims and lots) we will endeavour to remove those on request.  

Simply write in with links to the files you need removing and we will look into it for you.
